  • Abstract
    Applying optical switching to datacenter networks will increase network bandwidth and reduce power consumption while meeting the explosive traffic increase. Two of the critical attributes of optical switches are scalability and cost effectiveness. The wavelength routing switch offers the solution to the development of large port count optical switches.
