Abstract
Under the ground surface there is dense network of various facilities such as cables, pipes etc. which must be effectively localized and identified. For this purposes the RFID transponders - markers are being used. In this paper the modelling of magnetic fields around these markers will be performed. For simplicity, the environment in which the magnetic fields will be modelled is assumed as air. This assumption is enabled by relatively small working frequencies of markers so that the ground influence is neglected. For comparison, theoretical calculation of magnetic field intensity around the circular marker will be performed. Next, the current induced into the LC circuit of marker by the localization device will be calculated to obtain real input conditions for simulation. The theoretical and simulated results will be compared to verify an accuracy of simulation outputs.
