Abstract
This paper is dedicated to the method and a special approach to signal processing in acoustic passive location for aircraft localization and obtaining its motion parameters. The algorithm of aircraft position determination and observation based on its acoustic noise measurement is developed. It is based of estimation of time delay of signals arrival to each microphone and further calculation of wide-band ambiguity function, which is performed using direct/inverse fast Fourier transform (FFT/IFFT), which makes calculations much faster in comparison with classic integration. The final result represents the animation of aircraft motion on XOZ-coordinate plane.
