Abstract
The methodology for the statistical test of a program proposed in [1] is reviewed, identifying problems associated with the proposed program correction certainty estimation. A measure for class cohesion is proposed based on a class certainty estimate that solves the identified problems. In addition, a program certainty estimate is proposed such that it is consistent with the class certainty estimate and the loose coupling principle. Finally, an example of the proposed certainty estimate is given for a simple program.
