Abstract :
According to the characteristics of the smart grid, this paper analyzes current application status of the relay protection and the wide area protection, and proposes a construction solution of the panoramic information platform for the regional power grid, based on which the grid control system is realized. First, this paper elaborates the framework of the regional power grid control system, analyzes the hierarchy of the control system and emphasizes the implementation procedure of the panoramic information platform for the regional power grid. Second, this paper illustrates how to process the real-time big data and the quasi-real-time big data. At last, it proposes that the presence of the big data form, such as the panoramic information platform for the region power grid, will improve the depth and breadth on the application of the big data in the power systems.
