Abstract :
By analyze the loss distribution between different output state in three-level active neutral point clamped converter, a method to optimize the loss distribution between power semiconductors with SHEPWM is presented in this paper. Dividing 6 power semiconductors in each phase into 3 groups, this method ensure the losses between groups are equally distributed. Finally, simulation and experiment is done to ensure the feasibility of the method, and shows that this method can distribute losses into power semiconductors equally by using less temperature sampling circuit and lower software complexity.
