Abstract :
M-Lattice is a novel type of modular robot. It is used to form huge solar cell panels for space solar power satellites (SSPS), automatically. In this paper, we focus on fault self-detection issue. A bionic synchronization method is used to guarantee the high efficiency of the exogenous fault detection strategy. Conducting computational simulations proves the validity of this fault detection strategy. And it can be useful for other modular robotic systems.
