Abstract
Based on CFD, the Taylor-Couette flow in the plain and different slit wall models was studied. The CFD result of the plain model is consistent with the PIV experimental result, which proves that the numerical method is reliable and accurate. For the flow in annulus, the characteristics of Taylor vortex in different models were quantitatively analyzed. This study is focused on the influence of the slit wall on the flow field and comparing the variation of vibration frequency and amplitude. Because of the existence of slit, the axial vibration frequency of the wave vortex is reduced, an well as the vibration frequency of the wavy vortex decreases and along with the increase of the number of the slit when the Reynolds number is 200, the axial vibration amplitude increases.
