  • Abstract
The given article is devoted to problems, bound with the solving of hydrodynamic problems by a module-element method. The method the module-elements is one of modification of finite element method. Thus special complex spatial finite elements which have the name as “module-element” are applied. Each module-element represents a thin-walled shell. An example of such shell is the case of the ship shipped in water. In this case there is a coherent system “ship-liquid”. In given article the task of hydroelastic interaction of a ship shell with a contacting liquid (vibration of an elastic design in a liquid) is considered. Thus the variant is considered at presence of a free surface of a liquid. Special spatial boundary elements which have the name as “module-boundary elements” are applied to modelling a liquid. The problem is formulated in ideas of a module-element method. In the article the mathematical model of a problem as a whole is given and the basic mathematical equations for a module-element of a shell and a module-boundary element of a liquid are given. Figures and indispensable physical explanations are adduced.
