  • Abstract
    In order to evaluate and optimize the air transport plans with multiple transport aircraft, the simulation method and the software system for the transport aircraft mission are researched. The typical air transport mission is modeled through three major objects which are aircraft, cargo, and airport. The setting process and the elements of the mission plan are described. The simulation calculation process is executed according to the single aircraft´s ground status, air status, and schedule arrangement. The calculation scheme of the effectiveness indexes which are total transport capacity and fuel consumption per unit transport capacity is introduced. The architecture and application process of the simulation system including database, computing module, result analysis module, and graphic user interface module are described. A sample case including an emergency rescue mission is provided. The result of the sample case verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method and embodies the simulation system´s effect on the evaluation and optimization of the multiple air transport missions.
