Abstract
Remodulation crosstalk in WDM PON using self-seeded RSOAs is characterized by its pulse response. Feedforward cancellation of remodulation crosstalk is proposed and demonstrated, for the first time, using a simple feedforward differentiation method. Experimental results show significant reduction in remodulation crosstalk and 1.7dB improvement in transmission performance at 2.5Gb/s.
