Abstract :
The paper deals with the device for determining the critical flicker fusion frequency (CFFF). CFFF method is used in ophthalmology and physiology as an indicator of functional lability of the retina and visual pathway. Based on the analysis of available solutions, authors describe the creation of a new instrument. The main advantages of the device are the following: small size of glasses and instrument, computer control of the process, availability to upload new firmware into the device by means of software. The device was tested in Nothern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (NArFU).
