  • Abstract
    The efficient ECG data acquisition and transmission is important for detecting the heart disorders. This paper shows a platform of an ECG module, capable of monitoring ECG signals via ARM9 web-server technology in remote PC. In the current version, Ethernet is used for communication between server and PC, to illustrate the working of the module. It is showed in two fronts: 1) The device would get the ECG signal from the patient directly. The packaged device would be helpful to cardiac patients which provide needs for home based monitoring. 2) Then obtained ECG signal in the device would be useful in hospital for monitoring ECG without mobility of patient in critical conditions in Specialist room itself. Also, it will facilitate monitoring of multiple patients from a control station, significantly which reduces the number of visits for a doctor to monitor the patient condition in each room.
