Current regulation of AC machines under voltage constraints

This paper analyzes the operation of AC machines at high speeds under voltage constraints. Two major issues are addressed: current regulator design and saturation techniques. Methods able to provide maximum dc bus utilization through the proper use of saturation techniques, good dynamic response and reduced sensitivity, will be proposed.
