Abstract
This paper presents an extended resonance power divider to increase the dynamic range of RF rectifiers. Such a power divider distributes the RF input power among several different rectifier cells adaptively based on the input power level. Therefore, high rectification efficiency can be maintained over a very wide dynamic range. As a proof of concept, a two-way dynamic enhancement rectifier network has been designed, which exhibits a rectification efficiency greater than 50% within a dynamic range of 35 dB (from -15 dBm to 20 dBm).
