  • Abstract
    A novel trans-directional coupled-line coupler based on vertically installed planar circuit without shunt capacitors is proposed. A coupler model is presented. A coupler prototype is designed and fabricated. Experimental results agree well with a numerical calculation based on the numerical conformal mapping technique.
