  • Abstract
    In this paper, we study layer 2 framing schemes applied to common data link (CDL) systems. Finally, we provide an Ethernet based frame error rate (FER) which can be evaluated as the primary indication for overall CDL end-to-end quality instead of a bit error rate (BER).
