Abstract :
In this paper, we provides a comparison of low-complexity MIMO detector, including linear MMSE receiver with a capacity-approaching channel code. The impact of soft-decision provided by MIMO detection plays an important role especially when using capacity-approaching codes. Here, our focus is on linear MMSE receiver with soft-decision output, a.k.a., log-likelihood ratio, and its approximate version. This paper will provides a correction on the performance of MMSE receiver in our previous paper [8].
