Abstract :
We report a new DSP architecture that identifies multi-gigabit photonic assisted RF signals with minimum prior knowledge of the received signal. Experimental investigation demonstrates successful identification of optically generated RF carriers modulated with 3.2 Gbaud BPSK/ QPSK/ 8QAM/ 16QAM, after wireless transmission over 1 m in the V-band.
