Abstract :
This paper analyzes end-to-end packet error rate of decode-and-forward cooperative networks over Rayleigh fading. Packet error rate expressions are derived when node cooperation is applied with a selective repeat automatic retransmission request scheme and confirmed by Monte-Carlo simulations. The impact of average signal-to-noise ratio values, network dimension and number of retransmission attempts when maximal-ratio combining is performed at the destination are discussed.
