Abstract
Computer modeling is considered to be an effective tool to simulate water quality with the changing time and space in the pipeline network. This paper introduces a residual chlorine simulation method by building a hydraulic model of pipeline network peripherals, calculating water age, and finally building the water quality model for residual chlorine. The research conducted in the paper is based on the collected water quality data and pipeline network Geography Information System (GIS) data. Error checking and parameter optimization has been done between the simulated value and the measured value, which improves the accuracy of the model.
