  • Abstract
The temperature is an important parameter for the equipment functioning. Computer systems are designed to work best when the ambient temperature is in the range 20-23°C. This requirement is ensured by automated systems that maintain the temperature around the computer systems, regardless of varying the amount of heat dissipated in operating by them or the environmental temperature variation. In the present work the temperature has been monitored using integrated air conditioning systems, as well as measuring external systems. Air conditioning systems consume a high quantity of electricity and it is necessary to know and supervise this value, too. It has been considered the power consumption variation depending on the ambient temperature variation and a monitored premises. We tried to minimize energy consumption by modifying the temperature of the monitored system, depending on environmental parameters. In this paper we used a device to alert the user if there are changes in system operating parameters especially temperature variations, changes that could result in damage to the computers if is not taken immediate remedial measures obtaining the great benefits in computers using.
