Abstract :
This paper presents a very simple and efficient interface circuit, which breaks a tough technical lock in the field of low-power electrostatic energy harvesting devices. This circuit being only composed of diodes and capacitors, it is intrinsically very robust and its power consumption is extremely low. The absence of inductive components brings a promising perspective of integration and miniaturization for this circuit. Experimental results showed efficiencies higher than 76% for output powers as low as 13 nW.
