  • Abstract
    More and more applications are installed in smart phone frequently, especially the game applications. The battery is used more quickly because of these applications´ running. A new method to save power consumption is demonstrated. The method uses a server to collect all the applications´ backlight adjustment coefficient and frame interval value from all the smart phone innetwork. So that the other smart phone running an application. Besides, the server would update the parameters´ value to ensure them work well. In this way, when any one application is going to running in any smart phone, the smart phone can gain the parameters from the server directly without the parameters calculation and adjust the backlight and pixels to reduce the power consumption. The method can effectively save CPU calculation resource when running the application. The experiment result shows that the method can not only reduce LCD display power consumption but also save the CPU calculation.
