Abstract :
Due to a lot of institute with very wide attributes and complexity, the ranking of an institute can be viewed as a multiple-attribute decision that is normally made by a review committee with experts from academia, industry, and the government. This article proposes a new technique for solving common Institute ranking problems using a modification of the conventional AHP by incorporating "Fuzzy Linguistic Variables´ in place of crisp numbers. Fuzzy AHP is a generalized form of AHP, which give more flexibility to the decision maker compare to AHP. In this paper, an analytic hierarchical process (AHP) based on fuzzy numbers multi-attribute method is proposed for the evaluation and justification of an education system as a whole. Finally, a numerical example of Institute selection is used to illustrate and validate the proposed approach.
