Call-delay investigation in a client-content server environment

The present paper is a continuation work investigating more in depth the issue of important client call delay in a client-server communication environment, triggered by a server overload condition. The problem has been detected by the authors during a test-phase related to experiments performed for a research project dedicated to content delivery over IP networks.
