Abstract :
The paper contains a description of the wireless solution intended for falling down detection. The detection functions are embedded into UWB positioning system. The paper describes general system architecture and presents falling down detection algorithm. The results of experiments performed during algorithm development phase as well as tests of the system and detection algorithm are also included.
