Design and Implementation of the International Trade Settlement System

This paper studies on the problem of international trade settlement system design and implementation, which is very useful to solve the problems in traditional international trade business transactions. Framework of the international trade settlement system is made up of three modules: 1) Trade finance business processing model, 2) Quasi credit card business processing, and 3) Host interface processing. Afterwards, functions of international trade settlement software include three parts: 1) Import letters of credit business process, 2) Export documents business process, and 3) Business Process Guarantee. Next, we provide the formal description of the data process algorithm of the proposed system. To test the performance of our system, NBER-UN dataset is utilized, and top ten countries in international trade of the year 2013 are calculated.
