Abstract :
In this paper, a novel vector control strategy for variable frequency AC (VFAC) power system based on the dual stator-winding induction generator (DWIG) is proposed. The mathematical model of DWIG is investigated, which shows the model of DWIG can be simplified as a single stator-winding induction generator when the two sets of stator windings are tight coupled. The simulation results verify the principle and performance of the proposed method.
