Abstract :
In this Paper, we present a Proof of concept developed for intrusion Detection system using Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Network Infrastructure is developed using WSN modules having Plugin sensors. An Algorithm to detect the Physical Intrusion and classify it as Human or Vehicle has been proposed. This Algorithm uses the concept of Anomaly based detection. The Threshold levels for detection and classification have been fixed by Trial and Error after conducting various field tests. The algorithm is able to successfully Detect and Classify the Physical Intrusion, the results of which have been shown in the Paper.
