Abstract :
In this paper, we describe an all fiber high peak power master oscillation amplifier at 1064 nm center wavelength generated in Yb-doped fiber-based experimental setup. The experiment using two stages of single-mode amplifiers as a cascade structure to prevent the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) caused by weak power of the semiconductor seed. The four-stage fiber amplifier is used to boost the output power up to 6.98 W, the output realized the repetition frequency of 25 kHz ~ 200 kHz continuous tunable with narrow pulse width of 1.2 ns, the maximum peak power can reach 233 kW, the ASE and nonlinear effect can be effectively suppressed, the emitted beam exhibiting near-Gaussian, single-transverse-mode profile of M2 <; 1.3.
