  • Abstract
    The stator and the rotor winding leakage reactance is one of the most important electromagnetic parameters in wounded rotary transformer. In the design of rotating transformer, analysis of the winding leakage is necessary, for it is directly related to the input impedance and affects output voltage adjustment rate at the same time. It also makes great influence on the value of the output induced electromotive force. Because the rotary transformer primary winding and secondary winding can´t be fully coupled, energy stored in the leakage inductance can´t be transmitted to the secondary side, especially for the small size of the rotary transformer, in which winding leakage possesses larger proportion of the total reactance. So the calculation of leakage inductance is important in the analysis of the inductance. In this paper, at first the analytical method is used to calculate the inductance parameters of the concentric winding type transformer, then the FEM is adopted to analyze the characters in contrast.
