Abstract :
Sliding mode attitude controller based on ESO for flexible satellite is studied with no angular rate measurement information is used. In allusion to the attitude control problem of large flexible spacecraft such as long life communications satellites with gyro fault or no gyro configuration, third order ESO is designed to observe satellite angular velocity and total disturbance, damping ratio and bandwidth is introduced to describe the dynamic characteristics and parameter configuration of ESO. Sliding mode controller based on ESO is designed. Finally, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and show that the controller can achieve high control accuracy.
