Abstract :
In the process of highway operation, huge energy consumption occurs and a lot of pollutant will be emitted. To get an intuitive impression on spatial and temporal distribution of energy consumption and emissions, an energy consumption and emissions accounting model based on multiple sensors are provided, which can be used for detection, analysis and management of energy consumption and pollutant emission. In this model, energy consumption and emissions experimental data from different vehicle type, highway operation and maintenance data are included. The output of the provided model can be used as basic data for highway energy-saving, emission reduction and green highway grade evaluation. Finally, some suggestions are summarized which are based on the key factor analysis in the model construction process.
