Abstract :
This paper presents on new performance approach to determine the accessibility of maneuver/actuating elements like (doors, windows etc) inside habitat for wheelchair user. The idea is to involve a new computer data-base approach to evaluate the performance of these elements against person capacities physics needs. The presents approach simulated person-wheelchair behavior when he/she is operating such device in order to determine the dimensions/position of wheelchair maneuver space, whatever its arrival direction, and the position and the height of the handle grip, respecting the geometric constraints of the upper body of the person (table 1) and those of the wheelchair displacements.
