Abstract :
Image fusion is a process of combining complimentary information from a set of input images. In this paper, the transform domain fusion is verified with six types of fusion rules. By using of these rules the proposed algorithm justifies the suitable rule for perfect fusion. The performance of the proposed algorithm is verified with PSNR (peak signal to noise ratio), MI (mutual information), SSIM (structural similarity index), correlation for DCT and DWT transform domain techniques. The results compare the effectiveness of individual algorithm with six fusion rules.
