Abstract :
This paper describes a wideband LNA with linearity enhancement and noise improvement covering the frequency range of 0.2-5 GHz. The double capacitive cross-coupling technique is employed to exploit transconductance nonlinearity cancellation and improve the noise performance at low frequency. The proposed LNA is simulated in a standard 0.13-μm CMOS technology. The LNA achieves an input-referred third-order intercept point of 9-11.5 dBm, a noise figure of 2.74-3.58 dB, a voltage gain of 17.0-19.2 dB, and an input impedance matching of less than -10 dB along the entire band. The power consumption is only 3.0 mW with a 1.5 V power supply.
