Abstract :
Unpredictable channel availability in cognitive radio networks (CRNs) account for routing becoming a challenging issue in such network environments. This paper presents a routing scheme for ad hoc CRNs that emphasizes on construction of virtual backbone structure across the network for routing and data transport. The proposed solution features channel adaptive characteristic while performing end-to-end data transmission. Simulation results unveil the effectiveness of this approach.
