Abstract :
The research deals with characteristics of the formation of excitation in the cutting zone during machining and the formation of the tool and workpiece vibrations; excitation is regarded as the result of elastic and plastic deformation of the treated (processed) material; the article provides a model of excitation of tool and workpiece subsystems with regard to elasto-dissipative links formed by cutting process.
