Summary form only given. Technology foresight is an important activity in companies to meet the challenges of a fast changing environment. The understanding and the concepts of technology foresight have changed since the last decades. This paper develops a conceptual model of technology foresight in large multinational companies and reflects upon the evolution of technology foresight in the past decades. The analysis builds on own interviews in 26 multinationals and findings in the scientific literature
