  • Abstract
    We propose coil-shape coupled multi-core fiber (MCF) configuration to achieve 128 space channels per fiber (125μm diameter). Simulated optical field of 128-core coupled MCF seems to be almost close to the case of super-modes when all the cores arranged linearly. No significant field coupling was also confirmed between in and out of the coil for entire C-Band.
