Abstract
This is a case study of a company that has unique requirements that defines its success. The company is called ISSPRO Inc., a medium partner in the auto heavy construction industry. The company´s growth was maintained by the increased investment in new products sales and new aftermarket product lines. ISSPRO has experienced an excessive value of inventory costs which has affected the company´s cost efficiency. Our research goal is to improve cost efficiency and decrease processing time of the company. The alternative hypothesis has been created for making rational decisions about the reality of effects. Our alternative hypothesis is that the Kanban concepts could be applied to help to increase cost efficiency as well as decrease processing time. This paper discusses this hypothesis and its testing and concludes that Kanban can reduce costs and lead-times
