Abstract
The identification of the Lead-Acid Battery (LAB) model is in important step for the energy optimal management in photovoltaic systems. In this paper we will try to improve the identification process of the battery by using the Field Programmable Gate Area tools (FPGA). To this end, the Xilinx System Generator (XSG) tool is use within the MATLAB/Simulink environment for the implementation of the battery model in an FPGA device.
