3D tour through university spaces for the management and dissemination of the cultural heritage of the University of Cantabria

The Vice-Rectorate for Culture of the University of Cantabria has proposed, the 3D modeling of the campus, with the aim to generate virtual visits to cultural heritage of the University, at the same time that the new website of the area is performed. Within this initiative, as result of this research, with different modalities and techniques, we obtained a prototype. Once the study was done and the most appropriate techniques was selected for for the informative interest, we have performed the prototype of the 3D modeling and the virtualization of all major areas of the campus, to include it in the new University website allowing the diffusion of all cultural heritage. If we add the typology of dispersed campus and divided into different campuses in turn. We believe that have huge interest to group all the information in a web platform accessible throughout society.
