Abstract :
Thomas Schelling´s famous Segregation Model explains how ghettos can emerge due to simple behavioral rules followed by individuals, i.e. to stay only in a neighborhood of similar people. The system enters a turmoil state when individuals seek to live in a neighborhood where similar people are in overwhelming majority, i.e. above 75%, because individual´s desire never gets fulfilled in heterogeneous environment. We propose a realistic modification in behavioral rules that leads to the formation of communities despite extreme intolerance to other people.
