Abstract
We present the first experimental investigation of the impact of in-band optical crosstalk in fiber-radio networks incorporating wavelength division multiplexing. We show that crosstalk-induced power penalties are reduced when the crosstalk signal carries a different wireless frequency band, however, penalties are still observed even for perfect RF filtering of the crosstalk signal.
