Abstract
The integration of renewables in the distribution grid has come to play an important role during the last decade. One of the ways to do it efficient is through grid reconfiguration for power loss reduction since reconfigurable networks with low resistive losses accept more intermittent renewable generation than static ones. Thus, in this paper two reconfiguration methods for a distribution network with 4 supply nodes are studied: The Deterministic Iterative Improvement and The Simulated Annealing.
