Abstract
We demonstrate a novel laser ablation technique for measurement of Ca distribution of biological tissue along the depth. The measurement is performed by the time-gated spectroscopy of plume luminescence in tissue ablation with the help of the optical coherence tomography used for determination of the crater depth. In vitro measurement was made for rat femur. This technique should be applicable for measurement of Ca distribution of epidermis and vessel wall.
