Abstract
Frequency parameters are very distinctive features of radar signals. This results both from state of the art in the transmitting techniques and from operational use of radar. The most popular and obvious method to determine signal frequency parameters based on modern technology, is to use a digitizing technique and subsequently the fast Fourier transform algorithm. Such an approach is relatively easy when signal is not limited in time. Faced with this problem, the paper presents the compressive receiver concept with application to measure frequency parameters of a radar signal, which are usually strictly time limited events.
