Abstract :
Trend information of the bulk power system reflects the operating status of the power grid and could be utilized to predict the threats to the security and stability. A new technology called dynamic partitioning is proposed to increase the power system´s stability based on the trend information in this paper. Firstly, the emergency state of power system is identified according to some trend information, which is related to some factors such as equipment overload, voltage over-limit, low frequency oscillation, short-circuit current over-limit and so on. Then some control methods could be used as dynamic partitioning technologies to prevent stability problem under the emergency condition, including transferring load, switching standby lines, changing the operation mode of electromagnetic looped network and so on. Finally, auxiliary decision-making strategy is proposed to specify which dynamic partitioning scheme should be selected among the optional solution space. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed method.
